Bio
SITARA grew up in the vibrant world of hippie communes across Europe and India, traveling the globe before finally settling in Cologne, Germany. Writing songs has been her lifeline since her teenage years, and she channels her creativity through music, videos and visual art. Today, SITARA is a multifaceted talent - producer, artist, mother, networker, and free spirit - who loves crafting musical gems.
Her journey as a releasing artist began in 2021 with her first singles, followed by the EP "Marathon Girl" in 2023 and more singles in 2024, including "Take Control" and "Chase the Moment." Collaborating with other producers and DJs, Sitara blends electronic and indie sounds, creating a unique musical experience with her smooth voice and dreamlike lyrics.
"What I often miss in life is sensuality. I don't want to just talk; I want to feel. Do I always need to make philosophical or socially relevant statements to justify going public? For me, it's about the joy of feeling the music and sharing those vibes."
Now SITARA is ready to enter stages with her Trio – Electronics/Electric Guitar, Bass and Voice.
